Nikki Haley's North Korea Tweet Makes Some Go Ballistic

Nikki Haley's North Korea tweet on Tuesday complaining about having to work on the 4th of July because of the ICBM crisis got the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations in hot water on social media.

North Korea successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile that could reach the United States on Tuesday, with its leader Kim Jong Un promising more testing in the future, according to USA Today.

The action brought words of condemnation from the United States, and the United Nations Security Council scheduled an emergency meeting on Wednesday to discuss North Korea's testing.

Haley was joined by Japan and South Korea in calling for the Security Council meeting, she said in a Twitter post on Tuesday.

But it was Haley's tweet about working on Independence Day because of the North Korean launch that attracted most of the attention.

The Hill reported that Haley's post attracted a stream of complaining tweets, with some pointing out the U.S. military personnel who work in the Korean Demilitarized Zone, or DMZ, between North and South Korea. As an example:
