Daughter of Olivia Newton-John Chloe Lattanzi took time out of her busy modeling schedule to post an update on the singer’s second battle with cancer.
Lattanzi, 31, posted a picture of a modeling shot being edited on a computer, with Newton-John being seen in the screen’s reflection looking at the shot admiringly, People reported. The caption said, “Where’s mama? Can u spot her?”
“Hehehe she is doing soooo well. We’re spending this week together! So happy!” Lattanzi continued. Newton-John, who is 68, was diagnosed with breast cancer that had metastasized to the sacrum in May, after postponing part of her tour because of back pain, People reported.
Lattanzi had previously posted that her mother would be using natural medicines like CBD oil as well as traditional medicine to fight the cancer recurrence. “My mom is so powerful she will beat this in no time,” Lattanzi posted then, wishing her audience “health, wealth and happiness,” People reported.
Newton-John’s daughter had also told an ET reporter at San Diego’s Comic-Con on July 21, that she was in recovery, “healing” and “doing really well.”
Lattanzi and Newton-John will appear together in “Sharknado 5: Global Swimming,” debuting Aug. 6 on the SyFy channel.
Twitter users expressed support for mother and daughter as they face Newton-John’s health crisis.
