Olivia Newton-John is headed to Las Vegas, where she will perform her classic songs from the 1978 film "Grease," in which she starred opposite John Travolta.

The English-born Australian singer and actress will be performing at the Donny and Marie Showroom at The Flamingo starting April 8.

Tickets will start at $69 and go on sale Friday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m.

"I am thrilled to be able to call Las Vegas home for a while," Newton-John wrote on her website. "I have performed here many times through the years and have had nothing but wonderful memories and I look forward to even more fun at the Flamingo. I am especially thrilled that a portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Center."

The 45 show engagement will be called "Summer Nights."

"We look forward to welcoming Olivia to Flamingo Las Vegas, where so many other iconic artists have performed," Eileen Moore, regional president of the famed center Strip resort, added on the singer’s blog. "She has such a broad appeal and you can count all of us here at Flamingo among her adoring fan base; she's the 'one that we want' and we can't wait for her to call Flamingo home."

The Las Vegas announcement is good news after a difficult 2013 for the Australian singer, who lost her older sister, Rona Newton-John, to brain cancer last May, at the age of 70.

"I will miss her forever — my beautiful, smart, talented, funny, brave sister Rona," the 65-year-old actress said at the time.

A breast cancer survivor herself, Newton-John’s support for her sister had led to her postponing a prior Las Vegas show that had been scheduled for April of last year.

Then in August, a contractor the entertainer hired killed himself in the singer’s 7,429-square-foot, $4.1 million Florida home.

The suicide cost the singer a sale. Entertainer Rosie O’Donnell, who reportedly expressed interest in buying the home prior to the man’s death inside it, changed her mind.

Newton-John subsequently enlisted the help of a priest to cleanse her home following the suicide.
