Actress Olivia Wilde is apparently too good-looking to be a writer, a GQ blogger said after reviewing her new movie with Liam Neeson, “Third Person.”

GQ’s Tom Carson wrote of Wilde’s character in the movie: “She's supposed to be a writer too, but your belief in that won't outlast Wilde scampering naked through hotel corridors once Neeson playfully locks her out of his room. With that tush, who'd need to be literate? Who'd want to?”

As Carson’s implication that women can’t be both attractive and good writers is going viral and creating some unpleasant blowback for the GQ movie critic, Wilde nailed the GQ blogger with one tweet.

GQ magazine is jumping in to allay any thoughts that they might agree with Carson.

At least one person stepped forward to defend Carson, something that made Carson tweet that such defense almost made up for his mistake. Almost.

Still, that was one tweet among many that were not supportive and were often downright angry.
