Paris Jackson, 17-year-old daughter of late music superstar Michael Jackson, made a red carpet appearance in Beverly Hills with teenage boyfriend Chester Castellaw in tow.
Jackson and Castellaw braved the photographers for the Deaf West Theatre's production of "Spring Awakening,"
according to In Touch magazine.
"The 17-year-old is looking healthier and happier than ever with soccer player Chester, 18, and looks nothing like the troubled 15-year-old who attempted suicide back in 2013," wrote Valerie Siebert, of In Touch. "Following that scare, the only daughter of King of Pop Michael Jackson was sent to a boarding school in Utah and reportedly received treatment for depression. The teen reportedly met Chester after returning to L.A. from boarding school."
Jackson recently announced the relationship between her and Castellaw by posting pictures of them on Instagram and Facebook,
reported the Australia's Woman's Day.
"The cute teens have been showing off their love on social media ever since with a slew of adorable couple selfies," the magazine said in May.
Some gossips websites couldn't get over how happy and glowing Jackson looked in her brief public appearance last Thursday. The usual tittering even went as far as speculating about an engagement.
"Sporting a grey jersey dress, a pair of Dr. Martens boots, fringe purse and some bold pink highlights, Michael Jackson's daughter looked gorgeous alongside her 18-year-old beau for their big debut,"
wrote TooFab.com. "We can't get over those piercing eyes, doesn't she look pretty? … The duo sparked engagement rumors earlier this month, when she was spotted wearing a ring on 'that' finger. We didn't see any sparklers last night though."
Us Weekly reported that Jackson will appear in the film "Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys" in 2017.
When she was 15, -Paris Jackson cut her wrists and swallowed painkillers in a suicide attempt,
reported Hello! magazine. She was treated at a residential facility for depression and grief management for youth.
"She is in a good place, getting the help she needs," her grandmother Katharine Jackson said in August 2013, according to Hello! She had legal guardianship over Paris Jackson and her two brothers. Michael Jackson Jr. is now 18 and younger brother Prince "Blanket" is 13.
