Ann Coulter went toe-to-toe with CNN's Piers Morgan this week over the legalization of marijuana with the conservative commentator adamantly opposed to recreational pot use, inferring the outcome will be a nation of zombie-like loafers.
"If it is made legal, vastly more people will take it and it will be a disaster for commerce, because potheads are incapable of following simple instructions and getting a job done,"
Coulter said on Wednesday's episode of "Piers Morgan Live."
During the debate, Colter's threw several sarcastic barbs, including "My best friends are potheads" and "I'm drunk right now."

Coulter argued that people only smoke weed to get high whereas alcohol has other purposes, like to relax someone before a TV interview.
"Look, the sole purpose for smoking pot or eating a pot brownie is to get high. That is not true with alcohol. I have done TV after a drink. I bet you have too. I'm drunk right now," she said sarcastically.
Morgan played devil's advocate, likening Coulter's definition of a pothead to being a heavy drinker or smoker.
"No, heavy smokers work all night and then die young saving the Social Security System money!" Coulter shot back. "Potheads, I'm going to be paying for their food, housing, now for their healthcare apparently because they can't perform any useful jobs."
The CNN host then pointed out that nobody has ever died from a cannabis overdose but there have been countless deaths linked to cigarette smoking and heavy drinking. Why should that be legally allowed and not pot, he asked Coulter.
"Well everybody dies eventually," she said.
Coulter appeared on the show to promote her new book, "Never Trust a Liberal Over 3 — Especially a Republican."
