A Powerball winner was declared in Tennessee after the latest drawing of the multi-state lottery game on Saturday, with a ticket purchased in Macon County matching all six numbers for the $420.9 million prize.

The purchaser, who has not come forward yet, has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize, Tennessee Lottery officials said in a statement. Saturday's winning numbers were 17, 19, 21, 37, and 44 with the red Powerball of 16, according to Powerball.

"For the sixth time, a Tennessee Lottery player has won a Powerball jackpot — this time it's a $420.9 million grand prize for a very lucky person who purchased a ticket in Lafayette," the Tennessee Lottery said in its statement.

"… Due to increased sales, the original estimated jackpot of $403 million soared to $420.9 million for Saturday's drawing. This is the second largest overall prize for the Tennessee Lottery — the first was the $528.8 million Powerball prize won by a Munford family in January 2016, who split the $1.58 billion world-record jackpot with winners in two other states," the statement continued.

The $1.58 billion jackpot was the largest ever in U.S. history and split between three winners, according to Reuters. The current winner will have the option of having the prize paid out over 30 years or take a lump sum payment of approximately $254.7 million.

Despite the whopping total, the $420.9 prize was only the fifth-highest total this year and does not even crack the top 10 lottery prizes, according to CNN. In July alone, American lotteries produced two winners with totals of more than $1 billion.

On July 8, a single ticket purchased in Indiana was worth $540 million from the Mega Millions game while Powerball produced a $487 million winner from another single ticket sold in New Hampshire on July 30, according to CNN.

The Indiana total was the highest Mega Millions total this year and the game's third highest total overall, CNN said.
