Veteran daytime-TV host Regis Philbin is joining NBC's "Today."
Philbin's addition as a contributor to the fourth hour will reunite him with his longtime co-host, Kathie Lee Gifford, who co-anchors the hour with Hoda Kotb, reported The Associated Press.
Philbin, who has made multiple guest appearances recently, will appear about once a month in his new role, NBC said.
The 83-year-old Philbin hosted "Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee" from 1985 to 2000. He retired from the program in 2011 after nearly three decades.
