WWE legend Ric Flair is recovering after a serious health scare that included multiple organ issues and surgery to remove part of his bowel.

Flair was put into a medically induced coma before undergoing surgery and slowly recovered afterward. He will soon be starting physical therapy after being in the hospital since mid-August, including a stint in the ICU.

“He is doing very well for a Man who has been through so much!” Flair's fiancee Wendy Barlow wrote on Facebook Tuesday, TMZ Sports reported. “He will begin Physical Therapy shortly and will be stronger than ever and back out enjoying all the fans sooner than you would think.”

Barlow also called Flair’s recovery a miracle in her post.

Flair, known as “The Nature Boy” to fans, also took to social media Tuesday, tweeting, “Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand up taller than you ever were, Naitch WILL be back!”

Flair is a 16-time world champion and the only person inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, for his own career and for his part in the Four Horsemen.
