British comedian Rik Mayall, who became famous for his "The Young Ones" role and appeared on other shows like "Blackadder" and "Bottom," as well as in the movie "Drop Dead Fred," died Monday at his southwest London home. He was 59.
The Mirror reported that Mayall's wife, makeup artist Barbara Robbin, was thought to have found him at the home they share with their three children.

Police said his death was not suspicious.
Robbin told the Mirror that her husband’s heart was strong and she has no idea what might have happened.
"We just don’t know," she said.
Fans and comedians who worked with Mayall filled Twitter with sadness and surprise at the untimely death.
Comedian Rory Bremner tweeted, “Oh no. Awful news about Rik Mayall- a fireball of creative comic energy and inspiration. Such brilliant raw talent.”
Bremner, Mayall’s longtime partner in comedy, told the BBC, “There were times when Rik and I were writing together when we almost died laughing. They were some of the most carefree stupid days I ever had, and I feel privileged to have shared them with him. And now he's died for real. Without me. Selfish bastard."
