Russell Brand posted a video that now has more than 1 million views in which he harshly took Sean Hannity to task for his Israel-Gaza coverage and accused the Fox host of acting like a “terrorist.”

In the video, Brand played bits and pieces of Hannity’s interview with two men, one from the American Islamic Forum for Democracy and The Jerusalem Fund and Palestinian Center, and then interjected his own commentary into how Hannity handled the interview.

Brand accused Hannity of using “incendiary” words and waving his arms during the interview in a way that he said must have felt antagonistic toward the two being interviewed.

After the video was released on Tuesday, Hannity replied to Brand’s opinions on his show. He played a clip from Brand’s video and said, “Not funny. Anyway, ouch. I feel so bad that Russell doesn't like my style of interviewing. Unfortunately this out-of-work actor didn't stop at stylistic critiques.”

Hannity continued rebut Brand’s views, particularly on the “internationally recognized terror group Hamas,” as Brand explained he thinks what people perceive as terrorism is Gaza defending itself.

Framing their “debate” around the controversial issue of Israel and Gaza incited many people to go online to show their support for either Hannity or Brand.

“It's very easy for you to criticize Israel from your safe LA mansion with no threat of rocket fire, and if there was I'm sure you would want your country to protect you,” one commenter wrote on Brand’s YouTube video post.
