Ryan Gosling may have been tapped by Disney to
play the Beast in the upcoming live-action “Beauty and the Beast,” The Tracking Board reported, a role that would put him opposite Emma Watson who was tapped last week as Belle.
“I’m hearing that Ryan Gosling is Disney’s top choice,” a TB writer said, so at this point Gosling’s participation in the movie is still speculation.
Still, confirmation wasn’t necessary for the Internet community to get excited.
"We'll try not to get too excited until we get official confirmation, but
Ryan Gosling as a Disney Prince?! SINGING?!" wrote Elle.
It’s not unusual for Gosling to set the Internet world atwitter. In fact, this week, he got everyone talking just because he finally posted on Twitter.
CinemaBlend cautioned that the TB report should be “taken with a grain of salt (or seven)” because the publication “doesn’t have the best track record with scoops.”
