Scott Baio will reportedly speak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland at the invitation of presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

"I was at a fundraiser for Mr. Trump the other night with my wife and he invited me to speak at the convention, which was completely unexpected and out of left field," the conservative star of "Happy Days" and "Charles in Charge" told Fox News on Saturday.

Baio made the announcement to “Justice with Judge Jeanine” host Jeanine Pirro, to whom he also announced his endorsement of Trump in March.

"I wish that people could meet Donald Trump. I really do," Baio said. "He is such a regular guy."

Baio said he would speak around 8 p.m. on Monday.

"I'm a little nervous. I've never done anything like this before," Baio said. "I'm excited as all get out. It's going to be an amazing, amazing experience. I just don't know where to put it in my list of things that have made my life great. I'm sure it's going to be one of the things at the top."

Convention speakers also will include Trump's children, film star and model Antonio Sabàto Jr., and Vegas casino mogul Phil Ruffin, the New York Daily News reported.

Other celebrities who support Trump reportedly include Gary Busey, Jon Voight, Kid Rock, Kirstie Alley, and Ted Nugent.

After the initial report, Twitter users sounded off in a variety of ways.
