Iconic children's program "Sesame Street" parodied the quite grownup Netflix series "House of Cards" ahead of the political drama's third season in its retelling of the "Three Little Pigs" story, and Kevin Spacey applauded it.

"Sesame Street" also worked some math for the kids with Frank Underwolf, the muppet version of Kevin Spacey's diabolical Frank Underwood who has schemed his way all the way into the Oval Office by the end of "House of Cards" Season 2, reported Politico.

"It's a tale as old as time – three pigs, three houses (made of) straw, sticks and bricks," Frank Underwolf says in the "Sesame Street" parody, titled "House of Bricks," that has already garnered 1.16 million views on YouTube.

"But there's just one I want to get in to, the white brick house, the strongest of them all. These others are just in my way," blustered Underwolf in the parody.

"Frank Underwolf … aims to huff and puff and blow down the straw and stick houses on the block so he can get to the White (Brick) House," wrote Politico's Adam B. Lerner. "But when he finally does reach his destination, he finds that he's less secure in his seat of power than he might have hoped."

Spacey, for one, gave a thumbs up to the parody on the celebrity site WhoSay.com.

"Think the kids can't get in on the 'House of Cards' action? Now they can! 'Sesame Street' did 'House of Bricks' with Frank Underwolf. How brilliant," Spacey wrote.

"House of Cards" already had a bump in the road, provided by Netflix on Feb. 11 when a "technical glitch" allowed the series to briefly appear online before it was pulled off, noted Politico.

Showrunner Beau Willimon told The Hollywood Reporter he was not bothered by the social media buzz about "House of Cards" before its official debut on Friday.

"There's plenty of speculation on the Web in terms of what people gathered from watching those first 20 minutes or people who scrubbed ahead to subsequent episodes," said Willimon. "And all I will say is some of that speculation is right and some of it is wrong. But I won't tell you which is which."
