Shia LaBeouf's box office status took a hit when his war film "Man Down" reportedly sold one ticket, grossing just 7 pounds (equivalent to $8.74) during its United Kingdom opening at a cinema in Burnley, Lancashire County, England, over the weekend.

"Man Down," which was released in the United States last December, played in only one theater over the weekend – the Reel Cinema – for its UK opening, The Independent noted. It was first shown during the Venice Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival in 2015.

"Poor Shia," Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at ComScore, said, according to Variety. "That opening could be in the Guinness World Records or something."

The Guardian writer Stuart Heritage noted that an adult ticket in some non-London cinemas cost $15.75.

"Admittedly, the film was only shown in one cinema, in Burnley, before it was given a wider (video on demand) release," Heritage wrote. "Still, it probably took less than the projectionist at the cinema earned while it was on."

It was the latest in a string of bad news for LaBeouf, who once attracted millions of dollars to theaters as star of the "Transformers" franchise. In February, his livestream art installation project outside of the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens was shut down, The New York Times reported.

The museum called the anti-Trump exhibit, titled "He Will Not Divide Us," a "serious and ongoing public safety hazard" after LaBeouf was arrested there and it became a target for violence, noted the newspaper.

A former Disney Channel star, LaBeouf starred next to Harrison Ford in the 2008 film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." That movie earned $317 million domestically and $786 million worldwide at the theaters, according to Box Office Mojo.

TMZ reported in June 2014 that LaBeouf was arrested for smoking cigarettes and yelling obscenities during a Broadway production of "Cabaret." The actor was eventually charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct, according to the celebrity gossip site.

In October, 2015, he was arrested again in Austin, Texas, after ignoring police orders not to jaywalk while visiting the city's popular entertainment district, noted KVUE-TV.
