Soleil Moon Frye, who rose to fame as the spirited Punky Brewster in the 1980s kid sitcom of the same name, is pregnant with her third child, the actress revealed Thursday.
"I have a very big announcement: We have a newest addition to the family here,"
Frye, 37, said Thursday on the "Today" show. "We have two girls and now a new baby to join the family. We are so excited — I'm so happy."
Frye and producer husband Jason Goldberg married in 1998 and have two daughters — Jagger Joseph Blue, 5, and Poet Sienna Rose, who's almost 8 years old.
Frye has previously hinted that she wanted a third, and possibly even a fourth, child.

"It's on my mind like every day! I want a third,"
Frye told pregnancy website TheBump last year. "I just feel like if I have a third it will be another girl and I would be so into it. And then maybe the fourth would be a boy. Fingers crossed within the next year."

When asked what her advice to new moms would be, Frye offered this: "Enjoy the happy chaos. It's crazy, and it's amazing, and it's an adventure. There are times when you wonder if you're doing it all right or if you're doing it all wrong. There are times when you feel like the best parent in the world, and there are times when you feel like you're making mistakes. Just try not be so hard on yourself. Just know that it's all going to be okay. We're all trying our best."
Frye, whose new book "Let's Get This Party Started" comes out in October, just launched a new photo-sharing app called MoonFrye and will also be hosting "Home Made Simple" on Oprah's OWN television channel later this year.
