Katie Holmes and her 7-year-old daughter Suri Cruise spent part of the holidays relaxing in the Miami, Fla., sun, and time off reportedly included seeing a movie together.
People reported Suri and Holmes were spotted on the beach in Miami together and then at a movie theater taking in “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.”

Mom and daughter enjoyed popcorn and Milk Duds, theater employees told People. They acted “like a normal mother and daughter,” and Cruise seemed happy, the magazine added. The pair were reportedly “nice” to everyone.
The two were absorbed into the theater crowds, with a source telling People that “no one really noticed them.”
Pictures of Cruise and Holmes enjoying their time away in Miami popped up online, and
E! Online reported that it was a good opportunity for the actress to steal away. Holmes has a busy 2014 ahead, including the release of three movies: “Days and Nights,” “Mania Days” and “The Giver.”
In Holmes’ time around the pool on New Year’s Day, she took the time to tweet to friends and fans:
Katie Holmes and Suri’s dad, Tom Cruise, divorced in 2012. Cruise, during a lawsuit deposition,
admitted that his involvement with the Church of Scientology was one of the reasons Holmes and he split up.
