The Taylor Swift trial saw the popular singing star take the stand on Thursday to forcefully repeat her charge that a former radio disc jockey sexually assaulted her during a meet-and-greet photo session four years ago before one of her concerts, the Denver Post reported.
Swift and David Mueller are suing each other in federal civil court in connection with the 2013 incident at the Denver Pepsi Center. Mueller was fired from his job at KYGO after Swift charged that she was groped by Mueller during the photo shoot.
Mueller sued, claiming the allegations were false and caused him to lose his job, while Swift countersued, saying Mueller purposely assaulted her.
"He did not touch my rib, he did not touch my hand, he didn't touch my arm, he grabbed my bare a**," Swift said in her testimony, saying that she moved away from him and closer to Mueller's girlfriend Shannon Melcher when the picture was taken.
Mueller, 55, had testified that there was jostling when he joined Swift, sliding into the frame with his hand extended and accidentally touched her ribs, the Post noted.
"It was a very shocking thing that never happened to me before," Swift said, per the Post. "I got as far away from him as I could."
CNN said Taylor appeared confident and sometimes combative under questioning from Mueller's attorney Gabriel McFarland, rejecting another argument that the disc jockey was a victim of mistaken identity.
"This is what happened, it happened to me, I know it was him," Swift said, per CNN. "I'm not going to allow you or your client to make me feel in any way that this is my fault, because it isn't. I am being blamed for the unfortunate events of his life that are a product of his decisions and not mine."
Doug Baldridge, the singer's attorney, has argued that the groping incident did indeed happen and Mueller only filed the lawsuit to gain money and fame.
Stephanie Simbeck, the photographer at the meet-and-greet, sided with Taylor during testimony, CNN said.
"As they were posing for the photo, I saw her fall into the female, she had an uncomfortable look on her face," Simbeck said.
When asked how did she know that Swift was groped, Simbeck said, per CNN: "I saw his hand on her butt."
