Teresa Giudice, star of "Real Housewives of New Jersey," has reportedly been granted an early release from prison.
The 42-year-old entered the Danbury Federal Correction Institute in Connecticut on Monday to serve a 15-month sentence for bankruptcy fraud.
News reports on Thursday pointed out that a
Federal Bureau of Prisons website now lists her release date as Feb. 5, 2016 — 13 months from the date she reported to prison.
"Typically, you have to do 85 percent of that sentence, so that calculation comes out to a little under 13 months,"
Giudice's lawyer James L. Leonard told E! Online on Tuesday.
Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, pleaded guilty to fraud charges in March. Joe Giudice is set to begin his prison sentence in March 2016, E! Online said.
"This is a very strong family and they're going to be fine," Leonard told E! Online.
