The Tesla Model S P100D beat the Porsche 91 Turbo S in a speed test, accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.28 seconds.

Motor Trend tested Tesla's Model S and said it accelerated to 60 faster than any production car it has ever tested before. The Tesla, which retails for $135,00, beat out Ferrari, McLaren, and the Porsche 918 Spyder, all of which retail between $845,000 and $1.5 million.

Tesla announced in November that an Easter egg in a December software update would help the Model S P100D get from 0 to 60 in 2.4 seconds, according to Business Insider, but the test done in Ludicrous mode beat even that expectation.

What makes the feat even more unusual is that the Model S P100D is a five-seat car, unlike the two-seat models it beat out in the speed test, which assumed normal tires and dry asphalt, according to Motor Trend.

The Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 all have faster acceleration at higher speeds than the Tesla, but for regular road driving, those speeds aren’t commonly seen.

The Tesla also drove a quarter of a mile in 10.5 seconds, Motor Trend reported, tying with the Porsche 911. The Model S accelerated to 30 miles per hour a full .05 seconds faster than the Porsche.

Tesla’s Model S sedans feature a variety of self-driving capabilities, electric all-wheel drive with dual motors, and a variety of safety features including a HEPA filter system to defend against bio-weapons.
