The Oscar nomination of "The Boss Baby" for Best Animated Film has caused a lot of confusion for people on social media.

The film, which starred Alec Baldwin as the voice of a suit-wearing toddler, was nominated alongside “The Breadwinner,” “Coco,” “Ferdinand,” and “Loving Vincent.”

The unlikely nomination caused Twitter to explode with reactions and feelings.

Some fans pointed out “The Lego Batman Movie” was snubbed in favor of “The Boss Baby” and “Ferdinand,” a movie about a good-hearted bull who doesn't want to fight.

A poll on BuzzFeed showed 87 percent of the nearly 7,000 who voted said they didn’t think “The Boss Baby” should have gotten an Oscar nomination, with only 13 percent saying they agreed with the pick.
