Tiger Woods shouted in frustration at photographers on Thursday who were apparently interfering with his concentration during the British Open.
SB Nation writer Brendon Porath called Woods’ anger “rather justified” after he had to back off the ball several times before he shouted “Jesus Christ! Guys!” at the photographers.

Despite that distraction and also hitting someone in the head on hole 17, Woods ended up three below with a 69.
CBS Sports was impressed with Woods’ play for his first major tournament of the year after two months off from back surgery.
“Tiger Woods is officially back,” golf writer Kyle Port wrote. “Not back as in ‘playing Congressional to 7 over’ back but back as in ‘torching the back nine at a major’ back. It was pretty fun to watch, too.”
Two bogeys on the first holes didn’t look good, and
Woods told ESPN that the start was definitely shaky.
“Unfortunately, I got off to a horrific start but I fought back,” he said. When asked what he was thinking as he approached the third hole, Woods added, “We’ve got a long way to go. I’m not the only person to make two bogeys in a 72-hole tournament.”
Woods said his play at Congressional was important preparation.
“The fact that I was able to recover every day, and the fact that I was stronger, more explosive the more days I played,” he said. “I'm only going to get better from that point. And I'm getting stronger, I'm getting faster, I'm getting more explosive. The ball is starting to travel again. And those are all positive things."
