Tim Howard made a record-breaking 16 saves during Tuesday's World Cup match against Belgium, earning the Team USA goalkeeper a spot as a viral Internet sensation despite the 2-1 loss.
Howard's impressive display broke the record for most saves in a World Cup match since 1966, and even drew a nod from the opposing team's captain on Twitter following the game.

"How Tim played tonight was just phenomenal," Team USA head coach Jurgen Klinsmann told reporters after the match. "As the game went on, on the back of Tim's performance we got back in the game."
