Tim McGraw and Faith Hill walked hand-in-hand down the red carpet Wednesday before the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards in Nashville, quieting rumors that the two are on the verge of divorcing.

Enstarz.com reported that the couple has been married since 1996 and have three daughters together - Gracie Katherine, Maggie Elizabeth, and Audrey Caroline.

McGraw and Hill have denied through their representatives that the couple is divorcing, according to the Huffington Post. The Post in August referred to the National Enquirer article story stated McGraw was "threating to walk" out of the marriage because he was being mistreated by Hill.

The celebrity website Gossip Cop said that a spokesperson for Hill denied the National Enquirer story, saying it was "totally false and ridiculous."

The Huffington Post wrote that the National Enquirer charged that Hill feared a "sexual chemistry" between McGraw and fellow country singer Taylor Swift. Gossip Cop ripped the tabloid story saying it was based on unnamed sources and speculation.

"Various anonymous insiders provide the tabloid with lots of quotes portraying Hill and McGraw as jealous and perpetually fighting over perceived flirtations," The Gossip Cop article posted Aug. 21 stated. "But when it comes to actual evidence that there are any issues in the marriage, or that the couple is on the verge of splitting, the Enquirer falls flat."

McGraw and Hill are one of the most successful singing couples in country music. McGraw, son of former Major League pitcher Tug McGraw, has sold more than 40 million records and has scored 32 No. 1 singles on the country music charts, according to CMT.com.

His album "Southern Voice" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and the title single hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Songs chart. As an actor, McGraw won crossover recognition for the Academy Award nominated movie "The Blind Side" in 2009, according to IMDb.com.
