"Dukes of Hazzard" star Tom Wopat was arrested and charged Wednesday night in Massachusetts for indecent assault and cocaine possession.

The 65-year-old actor, who is starring in a production "42nd Street," allegedly put his hands down the pants of a woman involved with the show, TMZ reported.

Wopat was cruising around in his Ford Bronco when he was pulled over by the police. Officers found "two bags of white powder believed to be cocaine" in his truck, USA Today reported, citing a police statement.

Wopat faces felony and misdemeanor charges.

The actor is set to be arraigned Thursday -- the same day of his opening night for "42nd Street" in Waltham, Massachusetts.

A tweet from Wopat's Twitter account, which has since been removed, mentioned nothing about the incident, according to People magazine.

Since starring as Luke Duke in the "Dukes of Hazzard" in the 1980s, Wopat has made many guest appearances on shows like "Cybill" and "Longmire," USA Today noted.

He's appeared in movies like the Oscar-winning "Django Unchained" and "County Line."
