President Donald Trump delivered his first address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night in a speech that those on both sides of the aisle are applauding.
One particular moment helped bring together Democrats and Republicans alike: When Trump recognized the widow of slain Navy SEAL William "Ryan" Owens.
"He became president of the United States in that moment," CNN commentator Van Jones told Wolf Blitzer on CNN after the session. "Period . . . There are a lot of people who have a lot of reason to be frustrated with him, fearful of him, mad at him. But that was one of the most extraordinary moments you have ever seen in American politics, period."
