Viagra ice cream? That's right. A British food inventor's new flavor, called The Arousal, gets its sexy properties from the well-known little blue pill.
Charlie Harry Francis, who calls himself an “edible inventor,” created the Viagra-laced ice cream at the request of one of his clients,
Francis announced in a blog on his “Lick Me I’m Delicious” website.

Along with a semi-risqué picture of an ice cream cone and two scoops of the blue ice cream, Francis wrote, “This was one of the weirder request we’ve had, to make Viagra ice cream for a party. It was one of our A-list Celebrity clients and they’ve made us sign a confidentiality agreement so we can’t say much about it, but I am allowed to say that they were ‘very happy with the end result.’”
Francis said the ice cream included 25mg of Viagra in each scoop, which also was flavored with champagne.
The ice cream isn’t for retail sale, but
Francis told the Latin Times he would be happy to recreate the experience for other clients who purchase his ice cream services.
"We make any flavor of ice cream for people's events. Our client approached us and asked if it was possible. And it was," Francis told the Latin Times. "We spent a couple of days in our development kitchen working on it, incorporating the Viagra was relatively easy, making it taste nicely of champagne was harder."
Francis takes his ice cream inventions seriously, and describes them on his website as “ice cream porn.” For another client, he created a glow-in-the-dark ice cream, the Latin Times said. He used luminescence protein from a jellyfish to get the glowing effect, which only kicked on when the consumer started to lick the ice cream. (Jellyfish proteins are activated by calcium, the Times explained.) Francis hit the news all over the world when that ice cream was announced.
But his new Viagra ice cream may send him on another victory lap.
