It was a year full of memories of the AMC series "Breaking Bad" and its antihero Walter White, and a couple of fans decided to celebrate it on Facebook with the popular character's own "A Look Back" Facebook video.

South African comedians Derick Watts and the Sunday Blues posted the compilation of photos and quotes from Walter White emergence from a science teacher, cancer treatments to his murderous reign as a crystal meth kingpin.

"But the funniest moments are White's use of 'LOL' in a post calling Pinkman 'a bitch' and a sad face accompanying a pic of him receiving cancer treatment," Kory Grow, of Rolling Stone, wrote. "The best is a shot of White mugging in his Heisenberg hat and sunglasses, with the caption reading, 'Bought a hat and sunglasses today! #YOLO.' More internet colloquialisms abound as the pace – and White's life – picks up."

The creators told Entertainment Weekly that the spoof was inspired by the "A Look Back" videos made by regular Facebook users.

"I'm a massive fan of the show, and I made the video just as a bit of a tribute thing — because the day that those Facebook look back videos started getting made," Derick Watts founder Nic Smal, who made the video, said. "I was really . . . getting quite bored of seeing my friends' look backs. And then I just figured, Walter White has got such a journey — he would be such a cool character to see a look back for."

Another Facebook "A Look Back" parody, featuring "Star Wars'" Darth Vader, created by YouTube user Joshua Dill, is making the rounds as well.

Facebook introduced the "A Look Back" videos in celebration of the social media site's 10th anniversary. Facebook updated the feature last week that allows users to edit their minute-long personalized videos.

AMC will get a chance to create more memories when its "Breaking Bad" spinoff "Better Call Saul" debuts in the fall.
