Warren Sapp reportedly stiffed a waitress at a Florida sports bar on a tip and scribbled a mocking message on the credit card receipt, but the legendary NFL Hall of Famer isn’t apologizing and justified his actions on Twitter.

Sapp, 41, and a friend feasted on a meal that included crab soup, wings, a Reuben sandwich, and pizza Tuesday at a restaurant in Hallandale, Florida. But when it came time to square up the $69.39 bill, Sapp decided to leave no tip with the message "Boys don't tip!"

A photo of the receipt somehow made its way into the hands of ESPN's Darren Rovell, who then tweeted it out to his 479,000 followers.

Sapp himself later responded via Twitter, claiming that he chose to leave no gratuity because the waitress kept calling he and his friend "boys."
