A WikiLeaks "phase three" announcement over the weekend promised to unleash more data that could influence the U.S. election just days before voters take to the polls.

The announcement was made via Twitter in a post that also asked for donations, according to The Hill.

"Phase three" is expected to further damage Hillary Clinton’s campaign after this summer's leaked Democratic National Committee emails and the recent dump from Clinton campaign chief John Podesta's account.

This, in addition to FBI director James Comey's announcement last week that new emails related to the investigation of Clinton's private server had been discovered.

Though WikiLeaks' latest "phases" appear bent against Democrats, head Julian Assange has said in the past that, if confronted with damaging information on Donald Trump, it would be published on the site, too, The Hill noted.

Many are anticipating WikiLeaks' phase three on social media.
