A new music video from a Norwegian comedy duo called Ylvis has finally answered the age-old question, "What does the fox say?"
The bizarre offering, called "The Fox," has taken the Internet by storm, amassing nearly 39 million views since its release earlier this month. The tune is so stupid, so weird, and so silly, that it's actually good. And some are even calling the video — which mostly centers on a man dressed as a fox dancing around in the woods — the next "Gangnam Style"
Though the mega-viral parody was created by the Ylvis brothers — Bard and Vegard Ylvisaker — as a funny way to promote the upcoming season of their Norwegian variety show, they cut no corners when making it.

Ylvis teamed up with Stargate, a record-producing group responsible for some of the most popular billboard hits, including Beyonce's "Beautiful Liar" and Katy Perry's "Firework."
"They asked us what our idea was like," Bard Ylvisaker told the Wall Street Journal. "And I told them that I wanted to do a song about a fox. For some strange reason they said 'OK, let’s do it.' We definitely abused them. Those guys are working with the biggest pop stars on a daily basis, and our idea was completely idiotic."
The video has become so popular, YouTube is now flooded with covers, including one from the Ohio University Marching Band, which performed its version of "The Fox" during a game last week.
So what exactly does a fox say?
According to the video, it can be anything from "Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!" to "Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow!"
