'Zoolander 2': Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson Hit Runway to Announce Sequel

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson made a surprise appearance in the Valentino runway show appearing as male models Derek Zoolander and Hansel to announce “Zoolander 2” during Paris Fashion Week.

The film is expected to be about Derek Zoolander’s attempt to reinvent himself as male modeling changes.

Paramount Pictures tweeted about the stunt to promote the film, which is set for release on Feb. 12.



Stiller also posted about the movie on Instagram.

Off the runway, the actors stayed in character, posing backstage with Vogue’s Anna Wintour and snapping photos with a selfie stick before leaving.

Justin Theroux wrote the script for the sequel, which also will include Christine Taylor, Will Ferrell, and Penelope Cruz.

The original 2001 comedy grossed $60.8 million worldwide.

The runway appearance grabbed the attention of social media.
