Glenn Beck: I'm No Extremist

Conservative talk show host Glenn Beck told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that far right extremists exist in the United States, but that he’s not one of them.

"There is extreme right and you know what the extreme right is?" he asked Hannity. "Extreme right are those racists, white power people. They claim they’re on our side, small government. No, no, no. They’re Nazis. You can’t be a Nazi and a small government guy. That doesn’t work. You’re a socialist. A national socialist."

The extreme left, Beck continued, "is communists."

Story continues below video.

America has its fringe elements, Beck said, but "everybody else is pretty much in the middle and pretty much everybody wants to get along."

Beck said he doesn’t care what labels people choose to give him.

"What difference does it make? I’m not going to change their mind."
