The CNN anchor who is scheduled to interview Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton attended the wedding of one of her aides recently.
CNN senior political correspondent Brianna Keilar is interviewing Clinton on Tuesday, in what is Clinton's first sit down national interview.
According to Mediaite, Keilar attended the wedding of Clinton's Director of Grassroots Engagement Adam Parkhomenko and Ready for Hillary's Deputy Operations Director Kirby Hoag in June.
A photograph of Keilar at the wedding was posted on Twitter by Seth Bringman, former communications director for Ready for Hillary.
The picture also includes Dan Merica and Ashley Killough, who also work for CNN.
According to Mediaite, this revelation brings up questions about full disclosure and transparency.
"Will Keilar disclose this relationship to a top Clinton aide before or during her interview with the presidential candidate? Does she even need to?" Mediaite asks, adding that journalists should "always err on the side of full disclosure."
If not, the media watchdog continues, CNN could end up with an embarrassing situation like ABC faced when it was learned that George Stephanopoulos had donated to the Clinton Foundation, leading him to recuse himself from any upcoming presidential debates.
