E! reality star Bruce Jenner was unharmed in a Malibu car crash that killed one person, according to law enforcement officials.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" patriarch rear-ended a vehicle on the Pacific Coast Highway, which resulted in the driver's death.

Family members told TMZ that the former Olympian was being chased by five paparazzi vehicles when he slammed into the car.

However, L.A. County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Phillip Brooks disputed the notion, saying that Jenner did not appear to be chased by paparazzi at the time of the crash, according to KNBC Los Angeles.

Four drivers were involved in the fatal crash. Five others were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Jenner has been heavily targeted by the media recently due to his upcoming docuseries, which will chronicle his journey of reportedly transitioning into a woman.

A spokesperson for E! tells Variety that Jenner was not filming for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" or any related series, at the time of the crash.

The L.A. Sheriff's department confirmed that a crash involving Jenner took place shortly after 12 p.m. PT near Corral Canyon Road.

"The cause of the collision is under investigation by traffic investigators," the LASD said in a statement.

Prior to the crash, sources tell Variety that Jenner was set to meet with E! this week to discuss the docuseries, but the meeting's status is now unclear.
