Two CBS News employees tested positive for coronavirus, leading the network to send staff at the facilities home for two days.

Also, the company instructed anyone to have come in contact with the infected employees to self-quarantine for 14 days, according to CBS News President Susan Zirinsky, Variety reported.

"Our broadcasts will continue to go on and we are working with every [executive producer] and [streaming-video service] CBSN and each has determined the best alternative location to originate," Zirinsky said, per the report.

The facilities affected are:

  • 524 West 57th Street in Manhattan where "CBS This Morning" broadcasts.
  • 555 West 57th Street, the offices of "60 Minutes."

"At this point, we anticipate the offices will be open Monday," Zirinsky said, per Variety. "We will communicate guidance on the reopening of the building in the days ahead."
