Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, on Tuesday praised federal agents for deporting the first "Dreamer" during President Donald Trump's administration.

The acid-tipped celebration was in apparent reference to a USA Today report 23-year-old Juan Manuel Montes – who first arrived in the United States when he was 9 and was part of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program – is back in Mexico.

King said last week he was "very disappointed by the lack of action" Trump had made on reversing DACA after pledging to end the program during his 2016 election campaign. Montes was deported after an encounter with a Customs and Border Protection on Feb. 17 in Calexico, Calif., USA Today reported.

Former President Barack Obama implemented the policy in June 2012; it has 750,000 participants.
