House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., already has asked businesses to let him know about which government regulations are holding them back the most.
Now he is asking the same question of the public, The Hill reports.
Issa announced a website Thursday that solicits feedback from the public about bad regulations.
"Where does Washington help and where does it hurt?" Issa says in a video announcing the effort.
He asks viewers to log onto americanjobcreators.com, where they can send him their views about bad regulations. "To get our job right, we need help from you, America's job-creation experts," he says. "We're listening."
