Conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza admitted Tuesday night he isn't sure what the judge meant when he sentenced him to a "community confinement center" for eight months, but he doesn't seem to be worried about it.

The community service was part of a probation sentence given to D'Souza for illegal campaign contributions.

Fox News Channel's Megyn Kelly asked if the "confinement center" was a halfway house where he'd have to spend the night.

"Can you imagine the other people who are in there?" Kelly said. "They'll be like, 'Isn't that the guy who made the movies?'"

"Believe me, they're all going to be Republicans by he end of it," D'Souza replied.
