Another Hillary Clinton movie project is percolating in Hollywood.

Just months after NBC scrapped a miniseries and CNN axed a documentary about Clinton, The Hollywood Reporter says Lionsgate is in "early talks" to make "Rodham."

The project is to be directed by James Ponsoldt, who last made the R-rated romantic drama "The Spectacular Now" and acted in the Comedy Central feature "Porn 'n' Chicken."

The script was written by South Korean screenwriter Young-Il Kim.

It follows Clinton as a young lawyer involved in congressional investigations of President Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal.

She juggles a "diverging career path with her unresolved feelings for future President Bill Clinton," The Hollywood Reporter says.

Casting remains up in the air, but The Reporter says Ponsoldt has met with several actresses, including Carey Mulligan, who starred with Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Great Gatsby."
