Hillary Clinton said Friday drinking wine helped her get over losing to Donald Trump in last fall's presidential election.
"I won't lie, Chardonnay helped a little too," Clinton told Wellesley College graduates and guests during her commencement speech.
Clinton herself graduated from the all-women's school in 1969.
After a round of applause, Clinton added, "Here's what helped most of all: remembering who I am, where I come from, and what I believe. And that is what Wellesley means to me."
The Washington Examiner posted a clip of Clinton's remark.
Clinton criticized Trump during the speech, although she never mentioned him by name. Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel said of Clinton's remarks, "Today's speech was a stark reminder why Hillary Clinton lost in 2016."
