Jared Kushner is scheduled to address congressional interns at a private lecture on Capitol Hill next week.

The appearance by the son-in-law and senior adviser to President Donald Trump is part of the Summer Intern Lecture Series, The Washington Post reports.

The sessions generally feature lawmakers sharing their perspectives with interns who serve the federal government during the summer.

Others scheduled to speak next week include Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California and Republican House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, also of California.

In a sign that a large turnout is expected, Kushner's appearance is scheduled for the auditorium of the Capitol Visitor Center, one of the largest event spaces on the federal grounds, the Post reports.

Ryan is the only other participant whose lecture is to be held in the room.

Kushner's participation in a June 2016 meeting arranged by Donald Trump Jr. under the guise of seeking damaging information about Democrat Hillary Clinton has led his activities regarding Moscow to come under closer scrutiny.

Aides in three congressional offices told the Post that they had received notice of Kushner’s session.

Representatives for Kushner and for the House Administration Committee, which organizes the lecture series, did not respond to requests for comment.
