Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., announced she has tested positive for the coronavirus.
In doing so, she blasted some Republicans who were locked down with her during Wednesday's riot at the Capitol for not wearing masks.
She made her comments in an early Tuesday morning tweet.
"I just received a positive COVID-19 test result after being locked down in a secured room at the Capitol where several Republicans not only cruelly refused to wear a mask but recklessly mocked colleagues and staff who offered them one," she wrote.
Jayapal's announcement came after Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, D-N.J., had disclosed on Monday she had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Word of Watson Coleman's positive test also came on Twitter.
She wrote: "Following the events of Wednesday, including sheltering with several colleagues who refused to wear masks, I decided to take a Covid test. I have tested positive."
