President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced about two dozen government appointments to "key administration posts," including naming former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway to the Air Force Academy board of visitors.
Among others named to government posts: Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, Lynn Friess, who is married to influential GOP donor Foster Friess, and Matt Schlapp, the chair of the American Conservative Union, Politico reports.
The seats filled were on the board of trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Library of Congress Trust Fund Board, the National Cancer Advisory Board, Puerto Rico's Financial Oversight and Management Board, and the Community Development Advisory Board, among others.
Conway left the Trump administration at the end of August, but continued to act as an adviser to his 2020 presidential campaign.
