MyPillow founder and CEO Mike Lindell says Americans need to hang on to the hope that the economy will bounce back following the coronavirus pandemic.

“A lot of good things are going to come out of this, and I think for right now we’re all in this together and we’re all equally suffering. The things being done right now is to save lives,” he said during an appearance on Newsmax TV’s “Greg Kelly Reports.”

“I think you’re going to have a lot of things put in place, you know, sanitizing, washing our hands, all these things that I think we’ve got a little complacent on.”

The virus, which originated in Wuhan, China, has infected more than 372,000 people worldwide and killed more than 16,000, per Johns Hopkins University. In the U.S., 42,400 people have been infected and 579 people have died.

Lindell also urged people to “stay in the word.”

“I think when we have times like this, this is an opportunity for one of the biggest revivals ever. I think it gets people to faith because we need to have faith. We don’t know why things happen and why things don’t happen, but God knows, and we don’t need to question why. Let’s just keep the faith.
