MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski Friday continued her attacks on White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, calling on CNN to quit bringing her on the air for interviews.
"You've got to stop putting Kellyanne on the air," the "Morning Joe" co-host said, while discussing the aftermath of an interview of President Donald Trump by NBC's Lester Holt. "It's politics porn."
Brzezinski, who in February banned Conway from further appearances on her morning news program, continued that by bringing Conway onto CNN, the rival networks getting its "little ratings crack, but it's disgusting. There's nothing that she brings to the table that's honest. Your hosts know it.
"Your hosts look pained when they interview her because they know they're just doing politics porn. They're not doing news. We need to stick to the news."
Brzezinski further said that following the Trump interview, when he'd said he had wanted to fire "showboat" FBI Director James Comey, that put "Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Vice President Mike Pence" into the "Kellyanne Conway not credible, proved as a liar, made a fool" category.
"Who is it in the White House that can be trusted?" said Brzezinski. "Who can be trusted to give a statement, to explain where we stand in this administration? To explain that this presidency isn't falling down on a house of cards with lies written on them?
"This is a bad situation, and the people in the White House are making it worse by being Trump's stooges."
