O'Reilly, Stewart 'Christmas' War Back On

TV hosts Bill O'Reilly and Jon Stewart have reignited their annual war of words over the "War on Christmas"

O'Reilly on Monday listed "major organizations" intimidating Americans over public Christmas displays.

Stewart on Tuesday's "Daily Show" insisted Christmas "is in no way threatened."

O'Reilly countered on Wednesday that there is nothing "egregious" about wishing someone "Happy Holidays," though there is in suing someone over a manger display.

"Are you getting any of this, Stewart?" O'Reilly shouted at the camera, during his Fox News show, cupping his hands for effect. "Are you hearing me?"

The Comedy Central star just likes playing the Grinch, O'Reilly said, and pronounced him on "double secret probation," a la Dean Wormer of "Animal House."

"One more time, buster, and you are officially voided from Christmas."

O'Reilly turned serious to claim secular progressives want all religion removed from public life.

"All of the so-called progressive countries are secular," he said. "The left must get religious influence out of the way."
