French President Emmanuel Macron welcomes President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris back to the Paris Climate Agreement, a promise made by their campaign and an executive order signed Wednesday.

Macron tweeted:

"To @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris. Best wishes on this most significant day for the American people! We are together. We will be stronger to face the challenges of our time. Stronger to build our future. Stronger to protect our planet. Welcome back to the Paris Agreement!"

Biden signed three executive orders during an Oval Office news conference, including COVID-19 and underserved community pledges, adding former President Donald Trump's private letter was "very generous."
