Ronan Farrow has admitted he has worn tinted contact lenses but expressed exasperation that the issue has attracted so much media attention.
The
New York Post first reported last week that the MSNBC host, who is the son of Mia Farrow and possibly Frank Sinatra, was wearing colored contacts, suggesting there has been speculation that he is doing so to make his eyes appear "Sinatra blue."
Further interest in the story took off after The Drudge Report linked to the article, showing Farrow with different eye colors.
At the White House Correspondents' Association dinner pre-party Saturday, ITK confronted Farrow, who confirmed he did wear tinted lenses, but gave some pushback about the media's preoccupation with "gossip," according to
The Hill.
In a 2013 Vanity Fair interview,
Mia Farrow said that the 26-year-old's father could possibly be Frank Sinatra, not her ex-husband Woody Allen.
