Former President George W. Bush said he disagrees with his mother Barbara's belief that his brother, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, shouldn't run for president.

Barbara Bush has said the country has had enough Bushes, including her husband George H.W. Bush, and son, George W. Bush.

In an interview broadcast Thursday on Fox News Channel's "Hannity," George W. Bush said the idea of Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Bush "sticks in people's craws, obviously Mother's."

But he said Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Clinton wouldn't be any better in his assessment.

Noting that his father and former President Bill Clinton have become friends, George W. Bush said it might make for some uncomfortableness if Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush win the Democratic and Republican nominations in 2016.

But, George W. Bush added of Bill Clinton, "I'll still like him when Jeb beats Hillary."

He said he won't speak ill of President Barack Obama because he doesn't think its good for the country or the presidency to do so. He noted that when President Barack Obama visits Texas, where is unpopular, George H.W. Bush greets him at the bottom of the stairs of Air Force One.

Sean Hannity asked George W. Bush if he would do the same.

"Well, I don't know. That's a good question," Bush said. "I haven't yet so far."
